with an early chill and plenty of snow to start off another
great season. There is already snowmobiling and cross country
skiing activity and the season has just begun! Moosehead Lake
is already frozen across to Mount Kineo and the trail is expected
to open after the New Year. Please check with locals before
venturing onto any water body first.
The Birches Resort offers everything
from whitewater rafting, moose cruises, bike rides, Jeep tours

New to the Birches rental pool
this year are "Cozy
Cabins". They are a cross between a cabin tent and
a cabin...for a more enjoyable outdoor camping experience.
We have new seasonal rentals at the Birches Resort called
the Mahan Cabin
and Camp Uncus.
They are located half a mile away from the main lodge and
the Mahan Cabin is right off the shores of Moosehead Lake.
